We have partnered with the Department of Internal Affairs to recruit for an exciting **permanent** position in Wellington

The purpose of this position is to provide our customers with the advice and support required to access our products and services in an easy, efficient and safe manner that meets their needs, and in doing so contribute to the on-going success of Service Delivery and Operations and the wider Department.

The role as a **Life and Identity Services Officer** is a contact centre based role and will cover a broad range of duties that are critical to providing our customers with seamless service and a great experience across our Passport, Citizenship and Births, Deaths, and Marriages services.

**Day to Day you could be**:

- Taking calls related to passport enquiries and assisting customers with any questions or queries
- Providing customers with the necessary information, or helping to guide them to be able to access the information themselves
- Focusing on providing excellent service to a diverse range of customers

**The role**:

- Central location with easy public transport links
- Shift patterns between 8am
- 6pm
- Permanent and essential roles within a contact centre space

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- This role requires you to be a New Zealand Citizen
- Be avilable for a 12th of June start date
- Have a passion for excellence in customer service and take accountability for providing a high standard of delivery both over the phone and face to face
- Have a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise while following operating policies and procedures.
- Be keen to learn, proactive and solution focused
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work at pace within a team
- Flexible and adaptable
