**The opportunity**

Fidelity Life is on a journey to put the customer at the heart of everything we do, which touches on people, processes, systems, and products. As a result, we have an exciting opportunity for an events manager to join our team and support us with this journey. This is a part time, 6 month fixed term position working 4 days per week with flexible working options available.

Reporting to our Senior Manager of Channel Marketing and Engagement, this role is responsible for providing support to the Senior manager, channel marketing and engagement, playing an integral role, channel marketing and engagement, through a busy period of online and in-person events including our annual conference.

Some key areas of responsibility include:

- Support with the delivery of adviser facing events and engagement programs.
- Project management and event documentation.
- Contribute to planning for success (priorities, structure, create an outstanding culture and identity).
- Performing general marketing and events administrative duties as required
- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver adviser experiences that drive consideration and preference across our adviser network.

**About You**

With 3-5 years marketing/ and or events experience you will bring a strong understanding of marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices. You are a creative, collaborative thinker with sound judgement, excellent attention to detail, well-developed organization skills, and effective written and verbal communication. You can manage multiple projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, complex environment. Focusing on the bigger picture and bringing an analytical outlook will see you do well in this role.

Together with this you will bring:

- Familiarity with marketing automation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PPT design and excel.
- Previous experience in the events or travel industry.
- Experience with content management systems.
