**The Roles**

We are looking for two Senior Financial Performance Analysts to join our busy and dynamic Financial Performance & Planning team at Suncorp New Zealand (SNZ). These are permanent roles within our team and suitable for an experienced, senior Management Accountant

You will be responsible producing effective and insightful financial performance reporting for senior leadership and key stakeholders. You will also lead the financial planning activities, contributing to the annual 3-year projections and other ad-hoc financial forecasts. Your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will enable you to quickly build rapport and relationships across your team and the wider business. You will also have an eye for continuous process improvement and confidently implement improvements within the team.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Produce financial performance reporting and insights, ensuring accurate, high quality analytical insights and technical advice to help the business drive strong financial performance.
- Lead the co-ordination and delivery of the financial planning activities, as well as more regular periodic forecasts, working alongside the finance partnering teams.
- Support business partners and the wider CFO functions with ad hoc queries, including providing support across cost management processes.
- Perform deep dive analysis into financial performance and assist with special projects as directed by your Leader.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, constantly driving for better financial analysis and insights within your role and across the CFO function.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Tertiary Commerce or Business degree, mandatory
- CA, CPA or equivalent, mandatory
- 8+ years’ relevant large corporate commercial or industry experience, desired
- Proficient use of IBM Cognos TM1, PowerBI, PowerQuery, Oracle products as well as generic Office products e.g. Excel (VBA etc) and Powerpoint
- Excellent business writing skills, strong communication and influencing skills
- Excellent analytical capability (incl. data analysis)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
