**The Opportunity**:

Working closely with the Quality & Compliance Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring all manufactured products meet quality standards before being released to the market. It will largely be a mix of wet chemistry bench work, on-line testing and working closely with production to identify, correct, and prevent issues throughout the entire manufacturing process. The incumbent will also take care of the following tasks, but not limited to:

- Following inspection routines for adherence to GMP
- Raising non-conformances and taking corrective actions
- Ensuring a full traceability system is maintained (raw materials through to finished product)
- Providing technical support including root cause analysis for product quality issues
- Managing retention samples
- Reviewing COA specifications
- Calibration of relevant equipment
- Maintaining hazardous substances register
- Evaluating results, trend analysis & statistical evaluation
- Maintaining inventory of laboratory consumables
- Contributing to development and implementation of new quality procedures and SOPs

This is a hands-on Monday - Friday role, with some flexibility on start / finish times.

With a high achieving team, our client is in need of a results-focused and driven Laboratory Technician that can proactively contribute to their company. From process improvement to SOP development and system review, they are passionate about retaining their all-inclusive environment.
- Experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably from within a manufacturing environment
- Proven knowledge of ISO standards and GMP
- Experience performing in-process checks & basic wet chemistry tests
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer literacy (Abel or Mango software knowledge beneficial)
- Proven time management skills
- Ability to train staff on systems and processes
- Excellent communication and people skills
