**The opportunity**

Our Geotechnical team works across geotechnical engineering, engineering geology and hydrogeology. As a national team of over 130 people, we are excited for the opportunities ahead of us and are well placed to help Aotearoa advance and protect our world for future generations. We are looking for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our Hamilton team. You will be joining a passionate team in a varied role supported by experienced and industry-leading Geotechnical Engineers, Engineering Geologists and Hydrogeologists to accelerate your career and see you thrive. Each day will be varied with new opportunities and challenges, overall you can expect to be:

- Managing and delivering projects with support from our technical specialists
- Liaising with clients and project management from day one
- Planning and executing field assignments such as soil sampling, borehole/test pit logging and drilling guidance
- Undertaking geotechnical/ geological investigations and reporting
- Preparing technical proposals and reports with senior review
- Assisting with or carrying out data analysis and interpretation
- Carrying out project design under the general direction of senior professionals

**About you**

You will have a Bachelor's degree (a Master’s degree would be advantageous) in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, strong written and verbal communication skills, an enthusiasm for fieldwork and a willingness to constantly learn and develop.
