You will be a highly motivated academic, or a practitioner with relevant professional experience who wishes to move into academia. At Lecturer level you should demonstrate the promise of high-quality teaching and research, or equivalent professional experience. At Senior Lecturer level you should have a proven record of high-quality research and teaching, or equivalent professional experience. You will work well within diverse cultural environments, as well as provide a positive contribution to the administration of the school and the University more generally.
The University is committed to building Māori capacity within any field of Law so knowledge of tikanga and depth of engagement with te ao Māori would be an advantage if you are not a tikanga expert already. This role sits within the Academic Staff, Associated Staff and Academic Support Staff Collective Agreement and the following salary scale applies:
