What You Will Do

Who You Are

The essential selection criteria are:

  • Research and scholarship in a field relevant to kaupapa Māori psychology, consistent with appointment at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level
  • Experience teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students
  • A PhD in psychology or near completion
  • Experience supervising postgraduate research students
  • A high level of competency in tikanga Māori and a knowledge of te reo Māori
  • Recognition of Te Ao Ngāi Tūāhuriri values, tikanga, kawa of cultural practice and traditions and valuing Te Reo Māori
