**About the role**

This is a part time, fixed term position until October 2023. The Community Assets and Property Coordinator will provide support to the Liveable Spaces Assets team in the implementation of best practice asset management systems for Council’s community facilities, parks, and open space network.

Reporting to the Team Leader Liveable Spaces Assets, this position will be office based, working in the greater team of four people.

You’ll recognise the importance of the role as a Treaty partner and understand how that underpins Gisborne District Council’s work.

**Duties Include**:

- Providing administrative support with strategic asset management plans for community facilities
- Maintaining and coordinating all asset management plans
- Assisting with contract management, including documentation, evaluation of tenders and administration of contracts

**Skills & experience**
- Understanding of project management, contract management and asset management
- Computer skills including experience in the use of asset management information systems
- Research and analysis skills

Anyone from a lease administration, asset management or similar support role background with strong administrative skills will suit this role.
