About the role
The role contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective consent coordination service to the community. This includes the successful delivery of lodging, processing, issuing and invoicing of resource consents.
Reporting to the Team Leader Consents Coordination your role will be office based, working in the greater team of six people.
You'll recognise the importance of the role as a Treaty partner and understand how that underpins Gisborne District Council's work.
Duties Include:
- Issue the signed consent and processing invoice
Skills & experience
- Experienced at dealing with and communicating effectively with the public
- Accuracy with figures
- Proven organisational ability
- Ability to read and interpret plans and diagrams
- Ability to write general layout correspondence.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and under constant pressure to meet deadlines is essential
- High level of competency with Microsoft Office Products
