GirlGuiding New Zealand is a non-profit organisation that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for girls and young women to develop their leadership skills, build self-confidence, and learn new life skills. The organisation has a rich history in New Zealand, dating back to 1908 when the Peace Scouts for girls began. In 1928, Peace Scouts became GirlGuiding and New Zealand joined the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) as a founding member. Today, New Zealand is one of 150 countries that belong to the association.

**About The Opportunity**:
Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Strategically assess the value, and impact, of various funding streams.
- Secure sustainable, and impactful, funding to support the mission of GGNZ
- End or drop funding streams or relationships that do not serve the organization or do not deliver meaningful returns
- Work closely with the CE and leadership team to identify fruitful relationships, sponsorship and partnership opportunities
- Build relationships with and secure financial support from high-net-worth individuals
- Negotiate corporate sponsorship arrangements and partnerships
- Pursue meaningful relationships and arrangements, that deliver acceptable return on investment as agreed with the CE
- Develop and grow the Alumnae portfolio and manage the current Alumnae groups

**About You**:

- Extensive experience in fund development and project-managing fundraising campaigns
- Experience dealing with corporate sponsors, major donors and monthly donors
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
- Financial management and budgeting skills

You will also have:

- The ability to analyse complex environments or problems and design practical pathways and business solutions to achieve organisational objectives
- High level of communication and relationship management skills
- Strong relationship management and organisational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs and expectations of girls and young women
