**About The Company**:
GirlGuiding New Zealand is a non-profit organisation that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for girls and young women to develop their leadership skills, build self-confidence, and learn new life skills. The organisation has a rich history in New Zealand, dating back to 1908 when the Peace Scouts for girls began. In 1928, Peace Scouts became GirlGuiding and New Zealand joined the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) as a founding member. Today, New Zealand is one of 150 countries that belong to the association.
**About The Opportunity**:
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver grant funding targets on time and within budget.
- Build and foster productive and mutually beneficial relationships with funders.
- Support the Fundraising Team with other initiatives as required.
- Lead implementation of the defined strategies, to secure grant funding from a range of sources, including community foundations, gaming machine trusts, etc.
- Facilitate the promotion and marketing as a bequest recipient in collaboration with the Funding and Partnerships Lead
**About You**:
- Experience in fund development especially in relation to grant funding and project managing fundraising campaigns
- Relevant tertiary qualification (preferred)
- Financial management and budgeting skills
You will also have:
- Ability to analyse complex environments or problems and design practical pathways and business solutions to achieve organisational objectives
- High level of communication and relationship management skills
- Strong relationship management and organisational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs and expectations of girls and young women
