**Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity**

As the Internal Communications Specialist you will be primarily responsible for engaging Farmlanders in our brand and the Co-op's business strategy through effective and compelling internal communications. Working in the communications team, you will help to develop and implement the internal communications strategy for Farmlands in support of our business and People strategies. Partnering with the sales and manufacturing operational leads you will curate, elicit, inspire and distribute relevant content for frontline teams using internal channels, including Sharepoint.

This is a six-month fixed-term role.

**Mōhou ake | About you**
- 3-5 years of experience in an internal communications role, ideally in a large organisation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting, copywriting and editing
- The ability to adjust your style and language for different segments within the organisation
- Confident in using the digital workplace including Office 365 tools such as Sharepoint, Teams and Yammer
- A communications or public relations qualification would be ideal
