Christchurch, New Zealand HEB Construction Full time

Leads all traffic engineering developments and projects

- Plan, coordinate and organise work crews for all TTM works on the network to ensure stringent safety standards are adhered
- Plan work to minimise the impact on customer journeys through shared closures or alternative traffic management approaches

Position Description

- Remove road blocks and problem solve quickly and Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists
- Confer with work crew to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints and construction problems
- Coordinate and promote individual and team training to ensure staff capability is improving, staff are well trained and are
- Identify pinch points in project delivery in the early planning stage so that the delivery methodology is developed to best meet the outcomes required, taking account of safety and customer
- Organise, manage and monitor HEB TM crews and sub-contractor TM crews
- Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective
