**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention.
We have the opportunity available to join the Central region, Strategy and Operations team as the **People and Operations Support - Administration**. This permanent, full-time role will see you provide support to the People and Operations team enabling efficient delivery across the region. The role provides support and coordination to the Manager, People and Operations and the regional operational leads including the business, clinical and learning and development functions of the team.
**Mōu | About you**
You will have proven administrative support experience of a senior manager, ideally within the health sector.

- Has a minimum of 5 years' administrative support experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification or comparable experience
- Understanding of kawa and tikanga and some experience in working with iwi and Māori communities
- Understanding and experience working in partnerships with Pacific communities
