Quality Assurance Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the QA process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

**What You Will Do**:
- Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and career development opportunities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy and test plans to validate software across different platforms, environments, and configurations.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Design and maintain an automated testing framework using tools like Selenium, Playwrite, etc. to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Establish testing processes, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Track and report on key quality metrics, defects, and issues to stakeholders.
- Conduct risk analysis and prioritize testing efforts based on potential impact.
- Ensure software releases meet quality benchmarks before production deployment.
- Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies to support QA efforts, staying up-to-date with emerging testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level objectives (SLOs) to measure product quality.
- Analyse metrics, logs, and incident data to identify areas for improvement and proactively address potential issues.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organisation.
- Promote engineering rigor through root cause analysis and effective problem solving.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders across the organization.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard great people to your teams.
- Engage in performance conversations and help align business objectives to career goals.

**Requirements**:
**What you need to know and what will make you successful**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a QA leadership role, preferably at a B2B SaaS company.
- 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor on a QA team.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/deployment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing practices.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven leadership and mentorship abilities, with a focus on team development and knowledge sharing.
- Strong emphasis on engineering rigor.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate and lead when no protocol exists.
- Suitable National Criminal Check.
