The opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Manager to join our Finance and Actuarial (F&A) division, ensuring our financial, operational and compliance risks are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading Line 1 Risk practices- Providing guidance on managing financial/actuarial processes, controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements- Advising on risk management for projects and change initiatives- Identifying and assessing emerging risks and ensuring comprehensive Risk in Change (RiC) assessments- Managing control assurance programs and risk reporting- Promoting a strong risk and conduct culture within the organization- Building effective relationships with stakeholders within F&A and the broader risk community- Supporting issue resolution and ensuring completion of actions by agreed dates.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience in the actuarial space in the life insurance and/or financial services industry- Over 6 years of finance function risk management experience in the life insurance and/or financial services industry- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills- Ability to constructively challenge and consider broader business implications- Proven ability to influence and build effective relationships with senior leadership and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving risk management initiatives.- High-quality tertiary qualification in a related business discipline, with a professional or postgraduate qualification preferred.
