As the Senior Manager Risk Governance, Frameworks and Reporting, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing SkyCity's risk management strategies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust risk governance structures and frameworks that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Your leadership and experience will guide SkyCity through this complex area of transformation and will include regular interactions with Senior Leadership and the Board Risk and Compliance Committee.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Establishing management level risk governance processes and protocols to facilitate the ongoing oversight and monitoring activities.
- Establishing the risk committee structure, reporting cycle, templates to enable a transparent flow of information from Senior Management to the Board and vice versa.
- Providing support and excellence in drafting board quality papers in terms of tone, format, compliance, simplification, standardisation and continuous improvement, including managing retrospectives post governance rounds to track and monitor improvement actions across paper authors
- Driving excellence in risk reporting, working alongside fellow team members in providing coaching, ensuring quality and timely papers and reporting solutions are delivered.
- Establishing processes that support knowledge management practices.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Law.
- 7+ years of experience in risk management with a focus on governance, frameworks, and regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies and best practice.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing risk governance frameworks in a complex organisational environment.
- Experience working in a casino or gaming environment and/or experience in a similarly highly regulated sector (for example Financial Services).
