The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.

We have the opportunity available to join the Te Manawa Taki region, Strategy and Operations team as the **Manager, People and Operations**. This permanent, full-time role will see you leading the operational and people management within the team, and to drive across the region an organisational culture that supports delivery of the strategic and operational plans, meeting the NPHS performance expectations. This role includes supporting the senior medical officers within the service, working in partnership with the Regional Clinical Director, Public Health Medicine.

- Has a minimum of 3 years' operational experience
- A Bachelors qualification or equivalent experience, and management training
- Experience in leading change and service and quality improvement initiatives
- Experience in working with iwi/ hapū and Māori communities
- Understanding and experience working in partnerships with Pacific communities
