Job Details:
Job Summary: To provide administrative support to the depot. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Execute the shipment of exports both domestically and internationally by following operating procedures ensuring correct paperwork provided and systems updated
- Maintain the shipping register in excel for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Liaise with both internal and external parties regarding shipping requirements.
- Conducts Bill of Material (BOM) reviews based on demand to manufacture and assesses stock availability.
- Tracks and updates the Engineering Release Authorisation (ERA) register as required.
- Supports receiving, transferring and issuing of inventory as per operating procedures when required.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

- Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
- Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
- Ensure own health and safety and that of others by following all rules and procedures, reporting and managing all hazards in the work area and actively contributing to, and participating in, company health and safety initiatives
- Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
- Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
- Other duties as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:
**Qualifications**:
Essential:

- Completion of secondary education or tertiary qualification in the field of business or international trade (certificate level or above) or other relevant technical; discipline

Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
Essential:

- Minimum 2 years related experience in an administrative or related role
- Competent with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
- Ability to prioritise, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills(both verbally and written) across all levels of the business

Desirable:

- Exposure to NZ Customs procedures import and export, knowledge of Tariff classifications and claims for Duty recovery.
- Exposure to logistics and/ or freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of SAP
