The Higgins Team in Auckland are currently looking for a Supervisor to join the team at our East Tamaki Asphalt Plant. Reporting into the Asphalt Manufacturing Manager, this is a role where you will be overseeing a team of 8 plant operators. You will be a passionate people leader and with strong manufacturing experience.

We can manufacture 600 to 1,250 tonnes of Asphalt per day and we utilise the latest technology to blend and mix aggregate, bitumen, modifiers, polymers, fillers, and pelletised fibre.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Experience in a production or process environment (asphalt experience will be highly advantageous)
- The ability to look after the day to day plant operation to ensure high productivity and daily outcome targets are met
- Ideally you will have experience managing a crew on a day to day basis, setting goals and programming the days movements, including team resourcing
- Solutions focused with a growth mindset philosophy
- Strong organisation and planning skills with an ability to deal with unexpected events and provide clear direction to operational teams
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong track record of commitment to health and safety
- Class 1 licence with WTR
