**Te** **kōwhiringa | The Opportunity**

The role encompasses responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a shift on the Auckland Asphalt Plant facility including accountability for the safety & environmental responsibilities and site personnel and processes that deliver;
- Consistent product quality.
- Product available to meet customer requirements.
- Safe and cost effective and sustainable manufacturing operation.

Key result areas include:

- Manufacturing: Ensure pre-start checks and daily moisture contents are carried out.
- Customer Solutions: Provide proactive, positive customer service.
- Administration: Collect, check, and verify material delivery dockets.
- Zero Harm: Promote asset safety, quality, environmental, sustainability, and productivity best practice.
- People Management & Development: take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the plant.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**

You will ideally have:

- Proven previous experience in Asphalt Plant Operation is desirable.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Analytical Thinker, able to Identify and maximise improvement opportunities.
- Customer focused, “can do” attitude.
- Commitment to Safety, Health, and Environment.
- Computer Literacy.
