We're looking for an experienced Foreperson to lead our Asphalt Renewals Team, based out of our Wiri Yard in Auckland.

Leading by example, you will support your Asphalt Renewals crew in delivering quality pavement work across the South Urban Auckland network. With your strong experience in the civil industry, you’ll carry out small to mid-size projects alongside your Crew and Engineers.

In addition to the above you will:
- Leading your crew towards success in ensuring timely completion of quality work- Manage and coordinate resource, plant and equipment- Monitor and review of work, ensuring task is carried out according to specifications- Conduct labouring and plant operating responsibilities when required- Attend and take part in pre-start meetings, understanding hazards and H&S risks

We’re looking for someone with:
- Hold a Class 2 NZ Drivers Licence and WTR Endorsement- Have prior people management experience is ideal in a similar position- Having competency and ability to operate plant; Paver, Roller, Trucks- Ability to read site plans, interpret information across to others- Clear and effective communication in both written and verbal- Able to work both day and night shifts and weekends when required
