**The Role**:
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to join our Technical Field Service Team at our National Support Office in Ellerslie. This role is ideal for a recent or experienced BEng Mechanical graduate and is crucial for evaluating, monitoring, reporting, and addressing new and retread tyre product performance across the business.
Responsibilities will also include:

- ** Sales Support**: liaise and assist the sales team and external customers with analysis and solutions to all technical, performance, quality and service issues
- ** Planning and Development**:planning, implementation, inspection and maintenance of tyre evaluation programs, including testing products
- ** Warranty Systems**: oversee the warranty process, investigating and reporting on cases where incidents have occurred, and claims made and lodged
- **Quality Management**:ensuring strict quality management and assurance is met across all products, as well as compliance with relevant NZ laws and Bridgestone policies
- ** Reporting, Surveys and Technical Support**: preparation of reports for senior management, new tyre products, faulty products, etc. as well as upkeep and maintenance of technical documents and conducting market surveys to stay ahead of competitors

**To be successful you will need**:

- To have a relevant BEng degree, ideally within Mechanical Engineering
- A full, clean New Zealand Driver's license
- Previous mechanical or automotive engineering experience, ideally with some knowledge of tyres and the manufacturing process as well
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders of different levels
- Initiative, strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to work To be comfortable travelling as you will need to conduct field visits to our retread factories, warehouses and to stores, dealers and customers
