Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Relationship Associate in our Business & Agri team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Relationship Managers in making banking easier for customers, providing customer solutions and insights by conducting financial analysis, along with lending support for designated customer groups. This role is ideal for those with an eagerness to grow into Relationship Management responsibilities or to grow and develop as a specialist Relationship Associate. Your success will provide numerous development opportunities within our Business team, and the wider ANZ business.

**As a Relationship Associate, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Support our Relationship Managers in making banking easier for customers, providing customer solutions, and insights,
- Conduct financial analysis and develop and implement appropriate customer strategies,
- Establish and maintain a professional profile in the market and maintain an understanding of the customer’s industry and associated markets,
- Work collaboratively with other internal work functions and stakeholders, and
- Demonstrate living the ANZ Values with customers and colleagues.
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Background or experience within the agri/rural sector is desirable, but not required
Great financial literacy, analytical skills, commercial and business acumen is preferred but not essential
Strong analytical ability to assess and interpret implications of financial trends is preferred but not essential
Prior experience working with stakeholders and establishing and managing relationships in a customer delivery role/customer experience
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise
Experience in the banking industry is advantageous, but not a requirement
