**The Role**:
In a Monday-Friday role with optional weekend work available, this Quality Assurance Coordinator / Manager position will be responsible for not only overseeing day-to-day QA tasks, but also driving the company’s development in food safety. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Overseeing the quality team
- Working alongside production to lead quality systems
- Leading internal and external audits
- Providing quality advice and supporting decision making
- Working with both production and customers to address and resolve any non-conformances
- Handling any live or mock GS1 recalls
- Driving continuous improvement of systems and processes

With the company undergoing significant growth and changes in the coming year ahead, this role is best suited to experienced Quality Assurance Coordinators and/or Managers that have a passion for driving food safety culture. In a fast-paced environment, our client is in need of someone who has a strong eye for detail, can work well under pressure and demonstrate fantastic leadership skills in a quality environment.
- 5+ years’ experience working in Quality Assurance within a food manufacturing environment
- Hold a relevant tertiary degree in Food Technology or similar
- Strong experience managing and implementing food safety standards eg. GMP, HACCP, BRC, Woolworths Supplier Excellence Program and more
- The ability to remain solutions focused under pressure
- Have strong communication skills capable of motivating all levels of a business
- Experience leading both internal and external audits
- Proven leadership experience
