**About the role**

We have an opportunity for an experienced planner/scheduler to further their career in a successful global company working a morning shift Monday to Friday (6am to 2:30pm).

In this newly created role within our Engineering Department where you will play a key part in the team to utilize your planning/scheduling experience, to work closely with Production and the Engineering teams to ensure that the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities for the prevision of optimizing plan performance with the allocated resources.

**The day to day will include, but not limited to**:

- Planning and scheduling of maintenance work to be performed by engineering
- Liaise with Production Team Leaders to implement plant maintenance schedules
- Developing short and long-term maintenance schedules and update schedules.
- Work with Production Planners to negotiate plant availability
- Run maintenance planning meetings
- Review and write reports for planned, unplanned maintenance and continuous improvement activities in the plant
- Generate reports to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Modify/improve exiting maintenance systems and processes with a view to increase productivity and efficiencies
- Comply with the company’s health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness
- Maintaining good written and verbal communication with internal customers

**About you**

You will come from a cGMP manufacturing environment, with 3 years’ experience. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, be a sound team player with the ability to motivate and problem solve as you go.

As this is a new role you will be someone that enjoys creating process and implementing change to help support the business. It’s a fast-paced environment, a great place to learn and have the ability to really make a difference.

**The role will require you to**
- Have sound understands and knowledge of practices and principles of cGMP compliance or a willingness to learn.
- Have great attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Have knowledge and/or competence in using Microsoft Office, CMMS or SAP to meet business demands
- Scope, plan, and schedule work for completion by maintenance, operations and/or contractor(s)
- Schedule and coordinate work and associated activities for daily tasks or major shuts for the business
- Ensure that all major shut or daily schedules are executed efficiently and effectively
- Ensure compliance with the health and safety at Work Act and Company HS&E policies and procedures.
- Have strong time management, attention to detail and follow through skills
- Be able to manage multiple jobs and plan work
- Be Proficient on Microsoft Office, excel, CMMS or SAP (Plant maintenance), with an understanding of maintenance management software systems
- Have good understanding of health and safety guidelines
- Have excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
- Be self-directed and take initiative appropriately
