As a well respected national indigenous media organisation here in Aotearoa; our client is focused on taking a digital-first, audience-led approach in the delivery of educational and engaging entertainment that promotes, revitalises and normalises the Māori language.

**The position**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Executive Assistant to take on this 6-month temporary assignment to provide comprehensive support to the CEO of the organisation.

As the CEO’s right-hand person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of their daily activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a well-respected media platform.

The hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4pm, this role is based in their East Tamaki office.

**Key Duties involve**:

- Managing the CEO’s diary, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel logistics.
- Preparing board packs, meeting materials, and information packs for daily meetings each morning.
- Assisting in general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the organisation.
- Collaborating with team members to support the organization’s initiatives and events.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Fostering positive working relationships and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

**Skills Required**:

- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably supporting senior executives.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aotearoa’s indigenous communities and their cultural nuances would be an advantage including a basic understanding of Te Reo Māori
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
