**About the role**

The purpose of the BSC Administrator, Accounts Payable Processing (AP Processing) is to support Accounts payable operations as part of the New Zealand Business Service Centre to a consistently high standard and in accordance with The Downer Standard, key Global Solutions (systems) and Service Level Agreements (SLA). Key responsibilities in this role include:

- Process invoices using Downer’s invoice management tool, Speedscan (incl. invoice validation, 2/3-way match of purchase order and invoice)
- Correctly enter invoice/Expense Claims into ERPs ensuring cut off deadlines are met for payment processing
- Work as part of and provide support to the wider AP team
- Follow internal controls and processes, company policy
- Manage, coach and assist any direct reports and their reports to achieve their targets and improve their competency. Performance Development and Career Plans and Team up Talks should be used as appropriate for all employees.
- Manage poor performance effectively liaising closely with the Functional Leader the local HR Business Partner
- National, Regional and local training initiatives are supported. All staff are provided opportunities to develop their technical and people skills.
- Communicate effectively using a personal tone manner and style consistent with building a “best employer” work environment.
- Work collaboratively across businesses within the wider Downer community.
- Behave collaboratively in all interactions across the various Downer capability communities setting a positive example to others and being a role model for the Downer values.

**What you’ll bring**
- JDE/SAP or similar ERP as a user (1+ years - advantageous, not essential)
- Data entry experience (preferred)
- Stakeholder management exposure.
- High volume data entry environment, preferred Share Services (not essential)
- Excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills
- Effective interpersonal, consulting, persuading and negotiation skills.
- Effective time management skills.
