**The Role**:

- Respond promptly to reports of electrical faults and emergencies in distribution systems
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify the root cause of faults
- Implement efficient and effective repair solutions to restore power and ensure the safe operation of distribution networks
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to coordinate fault response and resolution
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations while working in potentially hazardous environments
- Maintain accurate records of fault reports, diagnostics, repairs, and any other relevant information
- Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and technological advancements in distribution line maintenance

**Who we’re looking for**
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Level 4 Distribution Line Mechanic
- EWRB registration and current Practicing License
- Must have HV switching experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and fault-finding techniques
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair faults in a timely manner
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations
- Minimum class 1 licence for 6 months and willing to upskill to a class 2 and class 4 licence
