Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are seeking a purpose-led leader to join our team as the Head of Infrastructure Deliver. This role will see you leading and taking responsibility for all committed capital investment and health infrastructure programmes/projects managed by the Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG).

This national role provides a unique opportunity to get involved in major programmes for a multi billion dollar portfolio. This includes the New Dunedin Hospital, Mental Health Infrastructure Programme and Whangarei hospital development.

You will play a pivotal part in creating a centre of excellence for project delivery, and developing a framework that ensures capital projects are being managed and delivered consistently. As the Head of Infrastructure Delivery you will be a key interface with senior leadership and provide recommendations relating to the delivery of the investment programme and projects to the Capital Investment committee of the Board.

Mōu | About you
You're a Senior Leader with exptertise in delivering major infrastructure projects within the construction sector. Your ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships will be key in developing and strengthening the Groups' capabilities and achieving outcomes. You have a natural talent for providing strategic direction, while also guiding and supporting the wellbeing and development needs of your team.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience
- Extensive working knowledge of delivery of major infrastructure projects including project management aspects
- Experience working in the construction sector at a senior leadership level, preferably with significant experience within the healthcare environment.
- Extensive networks and relationships across the construction sector, communities, key stakeholders and providers in your region.
- Ability to engage in strategic discussions about the health system and the reforms.
