**About the role**

As our Head of Marketing, you will report to the Hamilton General Manager and be responsible for defining marketing strategy for SkyCity Hamilton and ensuring robust plans and strategic partnerships are embedded to deliver optimum returns from site wide activity. You will have responsibility for developing long term marketing plans and promotional calendars, advertising programmes as well as leveraging our sponsorships and events.

You will also;
- Manage a team of 5 direct reports
- Provide advisory support to SkyCity Queenstown

This is a Full Time opportunity, working 40 hours per week. Flexible working options are available.

**About you**

As an experienced marketer, you'll have a relevant tertiary qualification, demonstrated leadership capability, an ability to deliver through others, and a solid background in developing and executing strategies to build market share, improve brand favourability, media results and business profitability. You'll be dealing with a range of stakeholders, so your ability to build professional relationships at all levels and effectively influence thinking will be paramount.

To be successful in this role, you will;
- Have significant marketing experience within a marketing-driven organisation with a minimum of three years at a senior / strategic level
- Have demonstrable leadership capability including strategic thinking and project management
- Have direct experience leading, motivating, coaching and developing a team
- Be customer and delivery focus with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- Be experienced in developing and implementing a strategic plan for customer growth and retention
- Integrated marketing campaign development and implementation
- Experience in producing end to end consumer promotions in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines
- Have a good credit and criminal history - the role will require a gaming licence so these checks will be done
