You will join this newly created team alongside our Senior Database Administrator. This team has been established as part of the digital transition happening here at UC. You will be primarily engaging with the wider Digital team, providing them with database guidance and support.

**Āu Mahi | What You Will Do**
The role of Database Administrator is to provide support for the Database Server technology across the University's production, test and development environments which predominantly are Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL. This role will have responsibility for databases that underpin the enterprise systems including HR, e-Learning, Student management, SharePoint, and enterprise reporting.

**Mōu | Who You Are**

You have experience in IT or related area, with at least some experience in Database Administration at a relevant scale and complexity.

You have knowledge of:

- PostgreSQL.
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- SQL programming.
- SSIS.
- Database high availability processes.
- Cloud hosted database technologies.
