If this role is right for you, first and foremost, you need to be an excellent communicator with extensive accounts knowledge, a great memory, and excellent planning and time management practices. This is a full-time role, typical hours are 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, though there may be additional work outside these hours at times, as the role requires.

**Key duties and responsibilities of the role include**:

- Accounts management, including AP, AR, end of month reporting and credit control
- Monthly management of accounts, preparing detailed profit and loss reports for each cost centre
- Payroll preparation and processing
- Preparation and filing of PAYE, GST, FBT reports
- Processing IRD payments
- End of year collation of information for the Accountant
- Budget and forecasting
- Tracking expenditures for individual projects
- Provide administration support for the service and installations teams
- Quoting and ordering licences and modules for ProNest Software
- Preparation and tracking of work orders, invoices and purchase orders using our ERP system
- Provide back up support as required to the rest of the team
- Manage an office administrator who reports directly to you

This opportunity may suit someone who very experienced in accounts but also has broad knowledge and experience in business administration. Being a SME and being part of the team, means being across all areas of the business and being pivotal in the smooth and efficient running of the business.

**To be successful in the role, you will**:

- Have an interest in what Plazmax do, and be prepared to learn about their technology, products and components
- Have a minimum of five years accounts management experience
- Be able to communicate with and get on with a variety of people. You need to be passionate about our vision, team, customers, and other stakeholders
- Have intermediate/advanced experience using Xero or similar accounting software
- Be competent and knowledgeable regarding payroll and legislation in this space
- Have knowledge and experience using product management software
- Have advanced computing skills across the MS Office suite, be internet savvy and be highly adaptable when it comes to computing skills
- Have excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Be a problem solver and look to constantly improve and refine our management and administration systems
