Internal Communications advisor - Wellington - Permanent

What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana
The Internal Communications Advisor writes, edits and develops engaging multi-media content (text, graphics, video, etc), for our busy internal communications channels and intranet. You'll need to be creative yet practical, strategic yet willing to roll up your sleeves to make it happen.
Alongside your communications colleagues you will work with people across frontline and national office teams to ensure timely, accurate, useful, and engaging content is delivered to our service delivery kaimahi.

As a proactive person you'll have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and you look for opportunities and seek feedback. Most of all, you'll love what you do because your work helps our frontline people support New Zealanders.
Working as part of a high performing, diverse communications team you'll bring:

- a strong desire to understand our diverse kaimahi, the important work they do and their communications needs
- excellent writing/editing skills and a keen eye for detail
- strong ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and deliver results by taking ownership and using effective self and time management approaches
- a strong focus on effectiveness of communications and a desire to contribute to business outcomes
- willingness to learn new technology, such as platforms for intranet, online sessions and community engagement
- a tertiary qualification in communications or a related field and 2-5 years relevant experience in a communications role

**Salary range**: $75,943.00 - $91,931.00
