**What you’ll be doing**:
This role is an important part of the team driving internal engagement within Chorus. Our Internal Communications Team is the eyes and ears of Chorus, supporting our people by ensuring they have the information they need, delivered in the most appropriate and timely way to do their jobs well. The Internal Communications Advisor works with the Head of Internal Communications and Senior Internal Communications Manager to own and manage our internal communication channels, provide support on event management and advising our business units on ways to deliver timely and topical communications. You’ll also use your creative flair to have fun along the way

You understand the importance of making the complex simple and having a passion for how creativity can make Chorus a more engaging place to work. This is a fast-paced role that offers lots of opportunity to grow and hone your internal communications expertise.

You will lead on managing and developing content for internal channels, such as Daily Hum, Yammer and digital screens, as well as lending a hand with our internal logistics and planning for events such as People Leaders’ Pulse and senior leaders gatherings, so your organisational skills will be second to none. Other responsibilities include:

- Stakeholder management (and being a great, approachable ‘go to’ person) across the business
- Championing our internal social media tools to drive engagement and coaching others on how to make the most of them
- Working with our business units to create communications plans that help them deliver to our strategic plan
- Identifying communications opportunities and risks
- Contributing to the planning and delivery of CEO and Executive Team communications - eg: maintaining an annual calendar of activity, overseeing logistics for internal events, preparing presentation material

- A good couple of years exposure to communications in a fast-paced, corporate environment
- Enjoy writing and be a natural wordsmith
- An eye for detail
- Experience in stakeholder management with an appetite to dip into more strategic internal comms initiatives
- A team player who recognises and gets the bigger picture and the essential role they play to make Chorus successful
