We are looking for a Principal Performance Adviser with knowledge and practical performance framework and measurement development experience, coupled with excellent stakeholder engagement skills to join our Performance Analytics team.
He kōrero mōu | About you
As a Principal Performance Adviser, you will analyse and interpret performance data and translate this information to provide insights that enable the executive leadership team to monitor progress towards achievement of our strategic outcomes (Hōkai Rangi). You will contribute significantly to the development and implementation of indicators and measures, including the development of a roadmap for the ongoing enhancement of indicators and measures, adapting as required and as data capability evolves.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the design and implementation of robust non-financial data collection and reporting systems. Utilising your analytical skills, you will interpret performance indicator trends, providing insights that drive management decisions and support our strategic intent. Additionally, you will offer expert performance measurement advice to various business units, including the alignment of performance measures with the benefits of key initiatives and investments.
This role is perfect for someone who is agile and passionate about integrating diverse perspectives, improving data analysis and reporting capabilities, and making a meaningful impact within a complex and fast paced environment.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
**To be successful in this position you will need**:
- Demonstrated experience of performance framework and measure development processes, along with experience supporting and delivering performance reporting for executive and other senior level stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of business drivers and performance, intervention logic, and the ability to think conceptually and draw connections.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. Can build trust, confidence, and influence colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- Professional and articulate communication style both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively with the executive and other senior leaders.
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $143,461 per annum. The salary range for this role is $121,942 - $172,154 per annum. Appointment will be based on skills and experience relevant to the role.
