**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

The purpose of this role is to lead research and evaluation of programmes and projects, during and post implementation, to build capacity in strong benefits realisation and to focus on delivering for impact and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Evaluating a range of different council investments, services and approaches within the Customer and Community Portfolio.
- Mentoring, advising and supporting staff across the department to adopt best practice processes and methodologies to embed continuous improvement
- Utilising research, insights and benchmarking to highlight key challenges for benefits realisation and opportunities for improvement
- Partnering across multiple functions to ensure quality advice is provided to leadership and decision makers that provokes and enables change

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

With strong relationship building and facilitation skills, you’ll also have demonstrated ability to think strategically and to link strategy with outcomes, as well as being able to navigate high level complexity as comfortably as granular project detail.

You will be degree or tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline with at least 5 - 7 years’ experience in this field. Someone with experience in change management would also be advantageous.
