Reporting to the Technical Programme Manager, as the Project Assistant you will assist in delivering contracting projects to customer needs on time, within budget and with high quality standards as required by Client and Northpower. You will be responsible in scheduling, planning, liaising with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors, and design estimators to deliver cost effective solutions.
- Based in Auckland you will also:
- Have a thorough understanding of the expected outcomes of the project and complete project close-out meeting and reports.
- Monitor and assist with financial performance and reconciliation.
- Organise equipment and materials required whilst maintaining efficient use of resources.
- Provide relevant Work Pack information for scheduling and execution.

- ** About you**
We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:
- Minimum two years’ experience will be highly advantageous
- Industry knowledge with good understanding of the fundamentals of the project and job management
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Competent computer user in MS office with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project
- A confident decision maker and ability to problem solve
- A team player with a great ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage and develop relations, preferably with experience in a multi-cultural environment. You will be working closely with diverse field and office staff ensuring the success of projects.
