We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Senior Cyber Vulnerability Analyst/Pen-Tester to join our growing security practise. The Defence Cyber Security Centre (DCSC) provides the core services to defend and assure the Defence Information Environment against ICS threats. The DCSC provides proactive monitoring and assessment of threats as well as ensuring efficient and effective response when required. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in looking for vulnerabilities that would potentially or unnecessarily place the Defence Information Environment at risk.

**In addition you will**:

- Produce reports with findings and provide recommendations;
- Peer review VA/pen-test reports;
- Assist with investigation, documentation, response and remediation on cyber incidents;
- Vulnerabilities research on emerging trends and vulnerabilities;
- Provide input on any identified vulnerabilities, weaknesses and/or possible upgrade or improvements; and
- Participate in Cyber challenges when required.

We are keen to hear from you if you are a naturally curious individual with a strong desire to solve problems and get results.

**In particular you'll have**:

- Senior level experience gained in cyber security and/ or infrastructure audit roles in a large and complex IT environment;
- Demonstrable background in reviewing Cyber Security or information security policies, frameworks and standards;
- A good understanding of the available products, Vulnerability/Pen-Testing tools and IT auditing methodologies within the Cyber Security domain;
- Exceptional ability to write detailed reports; think broadly, focus on solutions and to work under pressure within a multi-disciplinary team; and
- Experience working within an Agile environment is highly desirable - or at least an understanding of Agile methodologies.
