**Job description - Key Responsibilities**:
As our Cook, you'll be the mastermind behind our delectable dishes, bringing flavours to life that delight our customers' palates. Your responsibilities will include:
**Culinary Excellence**: Prepare and present high-quality dishes that align with our restaurant's standards and style, consistently striving for excellence in taste, presentation, and execution.

**Menu Development**: Collaborate with the head chef and management team to contribute to the development of innovative and seasonal menu items, incorporating your culinary expertise and creativity.

**Food Safety**: Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of our guests and team members.

**Kitchen Management**: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked and organized.

**Team Collaboration**: Work closely with kitchen staff to train, motivate, and lead them to maintain high performance and consistency in food preparation.

**Quality Control**: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet our standards in terms of taste, portion size, and presentation.

**Cost Management**: Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste reduction to maximize profitability while maintaining food quality.

**Customer Satisfaction**: Interact with customers to gather feedback and make improvements to the menu and dining experience.

**Business hours**:
Mon - Fri: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Sat - Sun: 7:00am - 2:00pm
Rostered work over 6 days will be between these hours:
Monday to Sunday: between 6:00am - 3:00pm

**Qualifications**:
At least 2 years of relevant experience working as a Cook or in a simillar role in a commercial setting

**Skills must include**:

- A strong passion for food, cooking, and a desire to learn and improve.
Knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and safety practices.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding our culinary standards.
- Enthusiasm for embracing new challenges and adapting to various cuisines.
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
