**Baker Assistant**

We are seeking one Baker Assistant to join our small busy team based in Gisborne.

This is a permanent full-time position with the pay ranging between $28.18 to $31.61 per hour depending on the level of experience.

On the job training will be provided to the right person.

As we are a small team, you will be required to work Monday to Sunday with a 4am start.

You will work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

**Tasks Include but are not limited to**:

- gathering food ingredients in preparation for cooking and serving
- gathering pots and pans in preparation for cooking food ingredients
- weighing and measuring ingredients
- washing, peeling, cutting, slicing and dicing ingredients for cooking and serving
- cutting and grinding meat, poultry and seafood in preparation for cooking
- removing cooked food from ovens and food warmers
- washing work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware
- storing food supplies, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware in refrigerators, cupboards, pantries and other storage areas
- informing the manager when food supplies are low

You must have your own reliable transportation to and from work.

**Salary**: $28.18 - $31.61 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
