Columbus Coffee is one of New Zealand's most recognised brands, serving premium café food and award winning coffee.

Our quality café food is prepared on site. We are seeking an experienced cook who is passionate about ensuring that everything that goes out of their kitchen is to the highest standard.

**To be successful, you will need**:

- A proven track record working in high volume kitchens, food to order service along with cabinet food prep, presentation and baking
- Good communication skills to ensure communication between kitchen and front of house runs smoothly
- To ensure the food quality, portion size and presentation of all dishes is consistent
- Experience implementing and enforcing all areas of Food Control Plans and Café Health and Safety
- To be able to work under pressure
- To be able to work as part of a team

This position will be a minimum of 30 hours, including weekends, hours and days to be discussed at the interview stage. The successful applicant will receive ongoing training and support from our Columbus Chef Trainer.
