**About the role**

Our customer service team are seeking an experienced representative to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract to support the team in delivering a quality service to our customers while a new program is launched.

While reporting to the Head of Customer Service you will be working closely with Freight providers, Key account managers and Supply chain.

The role contains a strong blend of consultative querying, technical troubleshooting, and problem solving, you will be required to process orders, returns and credits amongst other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities will include:

- Accurate and efficient data entry
- Following up on ETAs for customer orders
- Updating Excel worksheets
- Generally helping the customer service team out with administrative tasks

**What you will bring to the role**
- Previous experience working in a similar role providing top level customer service with experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Experience with order entry, credits, returns and resolving complex issues is essential
- Strong critical thinking skills with a proven ability to multitask, work well under pressure and to tight timeframes
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships and be able to relate to a wide cross section of key internal and external stakeholders
- Be a self-starter with proven initiative, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Some knowledge of the Roofing, Building and Engineering Industry would be an advantage
