**Mo te tūranga | About the Role**:
Reporting to the GM People Partnering & Advisory and collaborating with the People team, you are accountable for partnering with senior leaders in either our Transformation and Enablement portfolio (permanent opportunity), or our Business & Corporate business units (fixed term opportunity). In this role, you bring the best of our People team, delivering on our strategic business priorities within the portfolios you support.

You bring deep experience and capabilities as an experienced HR leader. You're experienced in leading through ambiguity, critical thinking, and have a demonstrated ability to influence decision making, enabling delivery of outcomes that bring our ASB strategic vision to life. You're a business leader who happens to work in HR, you have the commercial acumen to credibly influence executive leaders. You continuously learn, seeking outside in perspectives bringing insight and challenge to stimulate and provoke leadership thinking.

As a leader in our People Partnering & Advisory team, you are responsible fostering a collaborative and proactive culture and ways of working across People Partnering & Advisory, and the broader People team to deliver great people outcomes. You are responsible for capability development and uplift across the team to ensuring we are a high performing team, operating to our best potential.

You will be part of a collaborative and high performing team who focus on wellbeing and support for one another and having fun along the way
- Extensive experience in HR roles and operating at senior leadership level
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Ability to influence at a senior level and drive the people agenda
- Develop reputation as a trusted advisor and partner with EGMs and other key stakeholders
- Ability to balance different perspectives / priorities and create optimal solutions
- Strategic insights and ability to grasp high-level concepts and themes and evolve these into plans that lead team to execute and deliver
- Senior level communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- An agile mindset, with experience in agile ways of working
- Advanced knowledge and working experience with NZ employment law at a senior level
- HR qualification, with a general Business degree preferred
