We have a great contract opportunity available for an experienced communications professional to join a busy team in a large healthcare organisation located in Takapuna.

This is a 3 month contract but could extend into a longer term opportunity.

For this role you must be a highly competent professional who canturn their hand at whatever is thrown at them, be a self-starter and also be able to take and accept direction

**The Role**
- Providing strategic communications advice to Executive Leadership Team
- Crafting messages and framing communications collateral across a variety of platforms and mediums
- Coordination of media enquiries to manage risk, ensure no surprises for stakeholders and to protect public trust and confidence
- Proactive media pitches on success stories that enhance the organisations reputation among the community
- Identification and curation of content for fortnightly CEO Note and weekly staff newsletter
- Maintaining home page of intranet with news and information relevant to staff
- Creation and scheduling of original content across our social media channels on a daily basis
- Monitoring of feedback (public and private) on social media channels
- Structuring and scripting staff webinars and assisting to host these where appropriate
- General coordination and oversight of events management and official visits
- Liaison with external communications stakeholders
- Crisis communications in liaison with regional and national colleagues
- Relevant degree/Qualification in communications
- Experience working in a communication team or service, ideally for a large organisation
- Strong writing skills with the ability to write creatively and concisely for a range of channels.
- High level of language and grammar skills
- The ability to work collaboratively
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Up-to-date knowledge of communication methods.
- A focus on improvement and innovation.
- Good judgement and be able to make effective decisions.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- The ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
