Ko te tīma - About our team
The Authorisation and Advisory team is planning for uplift in the way we work, and what work we do. Working with the Head of the team, and a PA, you will work collaboratively and closely with our Authorisations, Certifications, Technical and Health teams.
We are a newly established team, with important mahi to do. The team is hard working and friendly - come join us and get to know the people and processes in this key part of WorkSafe
Ō te tūranga - About the role
- Supporting ongoing reviews within the Authorisations team
- Enhancing the measurement of performance, as well as adherence to regulation and overall strategy through permit reporting
- Supporting establishing permit registers within Atlas and implementing reporting mechanisms to provide a comprehensive oversight
- Operating to support the Head of Authorisations and Advisory in her deliverables, with a focus on planning.

Aligned with the focus areas, the Advisor Authorisations and Advisory will prioritise key responsibilities including:

- Navigating the organisation to facilitate collaboration and keep deliverables on track.
- Generating comprehensive reports that facilitate productive follow-up discussions.
- Working closely with the Head of Authorisations and Advisory on activities that are aimed at supporting our performance, and planning for uplift of our work under the Permit Priority Plan.

Please note that this secondment will require a relatively immediate start and a clear list of roles and responsibilities will be provided upon successful appointment.

This position is connected to a short term need to support the mahi describe above. There is no position description for this role, however clear expectations, responsibilities and tasks will be provided to the successful applicant in advance of the start date.
Additional Duties allowance
For any internal applicants, please check the Getting Paid policy for more information about allowances if you are seconded to a position in a higher salary band. For any external applicants (by way of interagency secondment), the full salary range for this position is $80,036 - $105,341.
