We are seeking an experienced person as Deputy Manager for the Martins Bay Holiday Park full time permanent position. The role will assist with the management and delivery of the holiday park operations as a commercial business to meet objectives, service levels and customer experience.

Play a key part in leading a team to deliver function specific duties, activities, and offerings to ensure excellent customer experience, service, health and safety, industry standards, compliance, revenue targets and KPI’s are achieved. You will support in managing the day-to-day operation of the park and assume full responsibility in the absence of the Holiday Park Manager.

You will be working 40 hours per week, rostered over 7 days.

The Park is open 7 days per-week year-round, therefore flexibility and commitment to working weekdays, weekends and rostered hours are paramount with some requirement to work or respond after-hours for park security, duty of care, and or emergency response. The role also assists in support across the portfolio of our other holiday parks as and when required.

Martins Bay Holiday Park is one of Auckland Region’s stunning holiday destinations with a range of offerings from camping, RV/campervan powered sites, glamping tents to units, cabins and facilities. The park is located in Mahurangi East, approx. 70 minutes’ drive north of central Auckland. Set on the edge of a long stretch of sandy beach, offering safe swimming, beautiful views, and brilliant fishing with Kawau Island and the Hauraki Gulf at our doorstep.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

You’ll have a passion for motivating your team members, operational delivery and interacting with our customers and be committed to making the experience of working in and visiting our holiday park a great one for everyone involved.

Our ideal applicant will have 2-3 years' relevant experience in similar operational roles and strong interpersonal skills to work with a range of stakeholders of various levels. You're confident leading from the front and have the proven supervisory to management experience in leading a team to drive delivery, consistency, positive outcomes and results. You will also be very much hands on in delivery as well.

Your experience with operations, health and safety, customer service, general facilities & grounds maintenance, minor works or projects and staff rostering will ensure that the holiday park runs smoothly, provides a safe great enjoyable experience for our customers and team. You'll need to ensure you're savvy with Microsoft Software such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams and with good data entry skills to ensure the administrative aspects of the role are delivered with quality.

Previous experience in customer service / hospitality / tourism / holiday parks / accommodation or business-related environment is essential. Knowledge and experience with online booking or property management systems, SAP, project management, web and social media business platforms, would be advantageous.
- 2-3 years of supervisor, team leader to management experience
- Customer service and centric approach experience and skills.
- Committed to health and safety with understanding of HSWA 2015.
- A current NZ Driver’s license Class 1
- General maintenance experience including monitoring trades / contractor delivery and performance on site.
- Experienced or ability to be trained in operating vehicles, tools, and machinery (utility vehicles, tractor, ride on mower, tools, plant and software systems)
- Current First Aid Certificate and Construct Safe, or ability to obtain.
- Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and rostered shifts as required.
