Our Sector Digital Channels team is the driving force behind change in our nationally enabled services. We're on a mission to create cost-effective and sustainable digital solutions that revolutionize accessibility. From user-friendly digital self-service options to seamless integration and automation, we're here to make life easier for the workforce.

We take pride in managing, delivering, and providing unwavering support for all our national external services. From Te Whatu Ora to Te Aka Whai Ora and Manatū Hauora, we've got our fingers on the pulse of it all. Plus, we're the champions of developing APIs that foster interconnectedness across systems used by external parties. It's like creating a symphony of seamless integration with the National Immunisation Register and Health Practitioner Index. Together, we're making a real impact.

**Mōu | About you***

As our Portfolio Advisor, you will be part of the Delivery team within Data and Digital. We hold the responsibility for maintaining and enhancing technology services and implementing and supporting Te Whatu Ora priorities.

We will be looking to you to bring your high-quality analysis skills, insights, and support to the Delivery team and our wider Data and Digital community. You will be expertly planning, tracking, monitoring, and reporting.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experience working in a programme or portfolio environment as an advisor and co-ordinator.
- Knowledge of programme and management methods including techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and the ability to utilise information and technology to create efficient processes and business critical data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong and enduring stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to a range of audiences.
- Ability to construct and deliver audience-targeted communications in written, visual and spoken forms.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Proven experience in a role involving high level of analysis and communicating complex information in simple and clear ways to enable effective decision making.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships/networks internally and externally.
- Demonstrated intuition and the ability to balance good process with the need to make clear decisions in demanding situations such as. priority service outages.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight timeframes and manage competing priorities while remaining resilient under pressure.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable.
- Hold a working knowledge of Agile and Product Management Delivery in the context of Portfolio Management and Oversight.
