File Management Support Officer, it starts with you
- Based at either Piki Ki Te Ao, Otahuhu or Counties Manukau Police Station
- Permanent/Full time Shift Work

- Remuneration From $57,083 + Shift Incentives
- Paid Meal Break Time
- Multiple Positions available, Multiple Intake dates
About the role
File Management, Transcription Services (FM&T), Information Requests and Public Counter are an integral part of the Service Group. The FM&T is part of a nationally centralised group which supports a number of key elements of the case management process, our frontline staff and also provides key services to victims.
This position is a varied role, with the ability to rotate between the duties of the file management center, public counter and information requests. You may be required to work across the locations of Piki Ki Te Ao, Otahuhu and Counties Manukau Police Station, and work across various shift patterns.
Service Group is looking for a number of engaged and motivated individuals for the role of File Management Support Officer, with a focus on exceptional case management, transcription work and service delivery.
The ideal File Management Support Officer is someone who is a team player, familiar with working in an agile environment, committed to contributing and being part of a high performing team, and has a clear understanding of Our Business and our Police values.
This role not only provides operational and administrational support to Police, but you will also be expected to work and access several Police IT systems.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Engage positively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support our colleagues across every function and level of Police.
- Excellent grammar and spelling.
- Outstanding written and oral communication.
- Work under pressure whilst managing conflicting demands.
- Being able to plan and prioritise workloads.
- Attention to detail - This is a busy role and being able to focus o the detail while under pressure is required
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team
- Change management
**Shift work details**:
The File Management Centre and Public Counter operates 24/7 and you will be required to work shift work which includes night shift. This operates on a six day on four day off roster - with two early shifts (6am - 3pm), two late shifts (12pm - 10pm), two night shifts (9pm - 6:30am), and four days off.
Information Requests require shift work but do not have night shifts.
