Gribbles Veterinary Pathology New Zealand is the country's leading provider of veterinary diagnostic services, operating five laboratories nationwide.

We currently have a vacancy for a Laboratory Technician to join our Serology/Molecular team based at our Palmerston North laboratory. This fully equipped diagnostic laboratory performs a range of domestic and export testing, on behalf of private veterinarians, research organisations, government agencies, pharmaceutical companies and zoos.

This is a full time permanent position.

**Ideally, the successful applicant will**:

- Have a suitable tertiary qualification in Science or laboratory science with a background in Molecular Biology and/or Immunology or equivalent laboratory experience
- Have laboratory experience performing serological ELISA assays, complement fixation tests, immunofluorescence tests, agglutination tests, PCR extractions and analysis
- Experience in the handling and laboratory preparation of blood specimens
- Be well organised and have an eye for detail
- Have a strong focus on quality and customer service
- Be a strong team player
